Nigeria striker Umar Sadiq is set to leave Almeria in the coming days, the new club’s CEO has confirmed.

Mohamed El Assey, the CEO of new La Liga club Almeria, has confirmed they are prepared to sell Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq in the near future. Even if the compensation was lower than the set value of 30 million euros. According to Mundo Deportivo‘s report on Monday,

Sadiq has been impressing with 41 goals over the past two seasons and has attracted interest from clubs across Europe. The Nigerian forward was not involved in a friendly against Al-Hilal at Burton on Sunday. As the ufabet club wants to make sure the 25-year-old striker is not injured while he is releasing his upcoming transfer.

‘Umar Sadiq has not traveled to England to avoid any injuries that could halt the imminent transfers at this time. He will be sold for slightly less than €30 million. We have another 12-13 players who have received offers. They are respected players in the market. And you hope they have a good future,’ said El Assey.

Almeria’s CEO, however, did not disclose which club the offer came from. The 25-year-old has previously been linked with Villarreal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
